BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

PROCEDURE FOR FILING APPLICATIONS

The Board of Adjustment meets on the first Tuesday of the month.  Meetings are held at the Kensington Town Hall, upstairs in the meeting room.  Hearings begin at 7:30 pm.

Applications must be presented 21 days prior to the first Tuesday of each month.  The applicant must be the owner of the property or a representative of the owner with written authorization to act as an agent of the owner.

A fee of $75.00 payable to the “Town of Kensington” is charged for filing and legal notice that must be posted in the newspaper.  A fee of $5.54 per abutter, payable to the “Town of Kensington”, is charged for notification of abutters by certified mail/return receipt.
