August 5, 2003 Public Hearing/Meeting

Roll call: Joan Skewes, Dan Chaisson and Mike Motherway, alternate

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.

 

Consultations only: - Review of zoning requirements only.  No approvals granted or implied.

 

Stephen Erickson, 108 Stumpfield Road property – potential home occupation with the installation of a separate kitchen as required by the State.  The potential purchasers for this property explained they would like to operate a home occupation baking cakes.  They explained that there would not be any selling from the home, as they would deliver.  Zoning criteria needed for approval was reviewed.  They will submit a formal application.

 

Joseph and Michelle Reidy, 242 Amesbury Road – Commercial potential for a residential home in a commercial zone.  Mr. and Mrs. Reidy were inquiring about what commercial potential there might be for someone purchasing their home.  The Board determined that although the property is in a commercial zone, its use is designated residential.  Someone wishing to operate a business would need to submit a formal application, as commercial use would represent a change.  If approved, then the applicant would apply to the Planning Board for Site Plan Review.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Approval of July 1, 2003 minutes – Postponed until the next meeting.

 

Joan Skewes stated she would like to resign as Chairman, with no decisions made at this time.

 

Dan Chaisson moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 pm, seconded by Michael Motherway with all in favor.
