Kensington Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes

Website – Dawn updated the website and removed all of the outdated information.		Dawn

Kensington Town Festival Ø 5K Road Race – Stefanie Johnstone gave the update as follows; the time of the race is 6:00pm, the insurance certificate is completed, the timing company has been signed up.  Amy D. and Jodi L are on task with drinks and prizes, Amy S completed the registration form.  Immediately following the 5K there will be a kid’s fun run also. Ø Band – Dawn has booked Friday Addiction.	Dawn
Ø Fireworks - Dawn contacted Telstar Fireworks, KPD, KFC – all systems go	Dawn
Ø Bake-off – Grace Beason  is working on.	Dawn
Ø Jumpy Houses – Donna updated the committee that 2 Jumpy Houses from Exeter Rent All had been secured for the date.	Donna
Ø Dunk Tank – Has been rented for Exeter Rent All.  $1.00 for 3 balls.  Working on volunteers.	Stefanie
Ø Cotton Candy – Cancelled	Amy
Ø Craft – The Girl Scouts will coordinate coloring a luau themed book mark	Dawn
Ø Face Painting – Jodi Lefebvre will coordinate, all is ready	Jodi
Ø Pie Eating Contest – Donna is coordinating and working with a few people for donations.
Ø Food - Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided, townspeople will be asked to supply side dishes and desserts for a buffet and bring their own drinks.	All
Ø Transportation - Donna contacted Rosencrantz and ask them to volunteer their services again shuttling guests from the parking lots off-site to Sawyer Park and for the use of the gas grills and they are fine with helping	Donna
Ø Extra Parking - Dawn contacted Harold Bragg and it is ok to use as a last resort	Dawn
Ø Town Wide Kickball - Greg  Lefebvre to coordinate	Greg
Ø Cones - Dawn contacted Dave Buxton – all set	Dawn
Ø KPD – Donna Contacted regarding cooking hamburgers and hotdogs – all set	Donna
Ø Signage – Stefanie contacted Coca-cola and they will provide signage for the event...	Dawn
Ø Clean-up Committee - looking for volunteers
