Kensington Recreation Committee Minutes

Meeting began at 7 pm at the Town Hall

In attendance: Kay Christie Cardoni, Cengiz Satir, Donna Carter, Mike Motherway

Guest: Dawn Perry

A meeting was called to discuss the Kensington Town Festival and to vote on issues relating to the Recreation Revolver Account.

The Kensington Town Festival is scheduled for July 18^th, the discussion centered on having an old fashioned family day.  The committee has outlined the schedule of events, and has organized the band-“Rock Daddy’s”, bouncy slides from Exeter Rental and the Fireworks.  There will be a Cook-off/Bake off and the Pot-luck tables will be set up and decorated.  Signs and posters have been set around town advising of the July 18^th date.

Kay Christie Cardoni made a motion to authorize Kathleen Felch to process payment from the Recreation Revolver account for the park and concession stand related expenses; provided funds are available and Mike Motherway, designated point of contact for the concession stand, signs off on the bill.  The motion was seconded (Cengiz Satir) and the Recreation Committee voted to pass the motion.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30pm.
