Planning Board Minutes

December 3, 2008

In Attendance: Chair Joan Whitney, Mike Schwotzer, vice-chair, Bob Solomon, Steve Wilson, Peter Merrill, David Buxton-alt for T. Wojcukiewicz, and Michael Motherway, Selectman’s Representative. Theresa Wojcukiewicz arrived at 8:00pm (after vote on rehearing).  Meeting called to order 7:31 pm.

Mike Schwotzer chaired the meeting at Joan Whitney’s request so she could take the minutes.

Mike Schwotzer read letter from Daniel Jones requesting a rehearing of the Planning Board’s Decision of November 19, 2008 and rehearing of the Planning Board’s vote of November 18, 2008 on Kuegel gravel pit.

David Buxton motioned to approve both hearing requests; Peter Merrill seconded the motion. Steve Wilson questioned the reason for granting a new hearing as no new information was listed in the application, only information that was heard and had no influence in his voting. This was agreed in principle by Bob Solomon and Peter Merrill but both agreed legally we should grant the rehearing to see if any new information would be heard.

Joan Whitney, Mike Schwotzer, Bob Solomon, Peter Merrill, David Buxton, Michael Motherway voted in favor. Steve Wilson voted opposed. Rehearing requests passed.

Rehearing will be at next meeting, Dec. 17, 2008.

There was a question if discussion at the next meeting of current violation at Kuegel pit needed special notice. It was decided that it was on the agenda because of decisions made at the November 18, 2008 meeting.

Mike Schwotzer moved to adjourn at 8:00pm seconded by Peter Merrill with all in favor
