PUBLIC HEARING cont’d

Application of CP Building Supply, Inc. for an amended Commercial Site Plan Review in accordance with Chapter IV of the Zoning Ordinance and Land Use Regulations.  The property is located at 268 Amesbury Road, Kensington, NH, Tax Map 3, Lot 15.  The objective is to add 16,680 square feet of additional pavement to the rear of the property for extension of the stock yard of building materials.

Dennis Quintal of Civil Construction Management, Inc. presented a revised plan.  Snow storage areas were reviewed and rip-rap has been added to the corner.  A six foot stock fence will be located approximately half way from the edge of the property and leveled on a berm.  They will keep the existing trees and vegetation as natural as possible and plant evergreens in between on the Conti side of the fence.  Note 10 regarding this was added to the plan:  “Solid wood stock fence and evergreen plantings shall be installed and perpetually maintained as a visual and sound buffer along the southerly lot line as shown” as well as a notation, “Large trees between fence and lot line to remain.  Propose evergreen trees and shrubs planted in spaces between large trees.”  Mr. Cynewski explained that this back area is more for slow moving stock, such as 18 to 24 foot lumber.  David and Kathy Conti said they accept the proposed plan.

Peter Merrill moved to accept the Site Plan as presented, seconded by Theresa Wojcukiewicz with all in favor.  Dennis Quintal will prepare a recordable mylar and provide additional plans.  Peter Merrill moved to authorize the Chairman to sign when they are ready, seconded by Joan Whitney with all in favor.
