Emergency Operations/Civil DefenseMark Pride is the Town's DirectorHe can be contacted through the Board of SelectmenThe Town's Emergency Management Operations/Civil Defense is the local agency which is responsible for the preparation for the carrying out of all emergency functions, to prevent loss of life or property resulting from any natural or man-made cause, but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm, wave action, oil spill, or other water contamination requiring emergency action to avert danger or damage, epidemics, air contamination, blight, drought, infestation, explosion or riot. Residents of the town are welcome to help participate in Emergency Management Operations. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Fire Department.
