New Construction:  Overhead Service (2 Inspections)                            $180.00

 

New Construction:  Underground Service (3 Inspections)                       $265.00         

 

New Service or Service Upgrade (2 Inspections)                                    $180.00

(All new services and upgrades require two inspections:  one before the utility

company can connect to it; and one after the service changeover has been performed.)

 

Addition (2 Inspections)                                                                     $180.00

 

Renovation (2 Inspections)                                                                 $180.00

 

Swimming Pool/Hot Tub/Spa:  In Ground (2 Inspections)                      $180.00

 

Swimming Pool/Hot Tub/Spa:  Above Ground (1 Inspection)                   $95.00

 

Additional Sub Panel (1 Inspection)                                                       $95.00

 

Generator (1 Inspection)                                                                      $95.00

 

Manufactured Housing (1 Inspection)                                                     $95.00

 

 

Notes:

Ø      Commercial Building permit fees will be determined by the Building and Electrical Inspectors at the time of Building Permit application.

Ø      If the Electrical Inspection fails and the Electrical Inspector is required to return to the site, an additional $95.00 will be charged to the Owner/Tenant.

Ø      The above fees include a $10.00 filing fee for the Town of Kensington.
