Minutes of September 9, 2008

Members in attendance: Rob Garneau, Joan Skewes, Harry Bodwell, Heather Douglas

 

  1. Call to order 7:45.
  2. Minutes approved.
  3. Rob reported that making the trails municipal trails requires only a selectman’s vote.  Group to discuss meeting with Selectman in October.  Benefits of a municipal trail system:

·        gives landowner opportunity to designate trail use

·        protects landowner

·        can fine people who are breaking law on trail

  1. Group reviewed letter sent to Alan Lewis from Rob on behalf of Conservation Commission.  Group approved letter.
  2. Adjourned 8:15 p.m.
