3. Read and discussed the following Mail:

4. Summed up trail work day on Charles Hodges Conservation Area.  The group of 20 volunteers finished clearing the 3 new trails and blazing them with red, yellow, and blue paint.  Sydnee intends to add these trails to an existing map of the property and post it on the town web site.  Group discussed having a snow shoe and/or cross country skiing outing in January or February.  Sydnee will put information about this in the "Community News".

5.  Discussed latest on the Kimball easement, including the final yellow book appraised value of the property.

6. Discussed latest on the Cole easement.  Sydnee shared what she knew about the appeal process that is underway.   NRCS rejected the initial appeal which asked them to reconsider their withdrawal of the FRPP award.   With that rejection, the appeal was then send to USDA which confirmed our right to appeal and is offering the town, RCCD, and NRCS a hearing.

7.  Discussed the latest on the SAU 16 land on Route 108.  Sydnee had contacted Brian Hart to see if Southeast Land Trust would consider holding the easement.  She is still waiting for final confirmation of that.  Phil Auger contacted Sydnee about trying to protect the whole piece through a Wetland Reserve Fund (Federal fund) award.

8.  Sydnee shared that she and Joan walked the Buxton property on Osgood road to determine the impact of the proposed drive on the wetlands there.  Joan wrote a letter to DES summarizing KCC's response to the proposed driveway.  KCC reviewed this letter and suggested minor changes.   Sydnee will mail the letter to DES.

9.  Adjourn 9:00pm
