Minutes of November 14, 2006
Members in attendance: Sydnee Goddard, Joan Skewes, John Skewes, Harry Bodwell, Rob Garneau

1. Call to order 7:42pm
2. Minutes approved
3. Discussed Kimball easement project.
Ø Sydnee announced $1120 grant award from New England Grassroots Environmental to fund 2 mailings and “Dollars and Sense of Open Space” presentation
Ø Joan, Sydnee, and Theresa Walker set date to work on mailings.
Ø Sydnee shared decision by selectmen to write warrant article with provision that $500,000 of funds for Kimball easement must be raised through sources besides bond
4. Linda Bennett shared preliminary ideas for a conservation easement on her property. She presented the appraisal and possible easement areas.
5. Motion made to “pay up front the survey cost for the Cole easement from the Land Use Change Tax Fund (Kensington Conservation Fund) and to have that amount subtracted from the amount Kensington pays the Coles for the easement.“ Motion seconded and approved unanimously.
6. Discussed Charles Hodges trail work.
Ø Sydnee will get Tom Mills address to Joan so he can be paid for the signs.
Ø John and Joan reported that they posted most of the rest of the boundary during the second trail work day
Ø Harry suggested we also post the York easement.
Ø Sydnee will contact Peter Sawyer about rerouting the trail on his property
Ø Decided it best to install the Hodges sign within the property boundary rather that at the trail entrance on French’s lane.
7. Motion made to “pay 2007 ERLAC dues of $150 out of KCC budget”. Seconded and approved unanimously.
8. Reviewed site specific permit response from DES for Hudson Height Development by Davlynn Construction of East Kingston.
9. Sydnee announced her plan to attend ERLAC workshop presentation of NH Fish and Games Wildlife Action Plan.
