Kensington Conservation Commission

Minutes of Wed Oct 4, 2006

Members in Attendance:  Rob Garneau, Sydnee Goddard, John Skewes, Joan Skewes

1. Call to order 7:43pm

2. Minutes approved

3. Motion to pay Tom Mills for signs on Hodges Property from Highfield Farm Trusts and any money received from trails grant to go into Highfields Farm Trust for reimbursement.  Motion seconded and unanimously approved.

Joan suggests Sydnee submit receipts to NH Trails Program for Reimbursement.

4.  Discussed plan for second trial work day on Charles Hodges Conservation Area.   Rob will mark a trail ahead of time.  John and Joan will continue posting the no hunting signs.  Plan to post the usage signs.

5.  Update on Kimball project.  Phil Auger will share new tax laws with Kimballs. 

6.   Joan agreed to become treasurer of KCC.  She will deposit donations for Kimball project to the Kensington Conservation Fund.  She will make a $100 donation to RLT from the Kensington Conservation Fund. 

7. Rob offered to give a slide show as a fund raiser for the Kimball Farm project.  Date TBD.
