The Assessor's office assesses the value of buildings on parcels of property throughout the town, and maintains that information on file at the Assessor's Office. The Assessor's Office also updates property cards in cases of transfers of ownership.

Tax cards are now available through email upon request.
Email with the property address or the Map and Lot number of the property card which you wish to obtain.

The deadline to file for an abatement is March 1, 2014. Since the first falls on a weekend, the deadline is March 3rd. They must be postmarked by March 3rd in order to be valid.

NH Department of Revenue Administration is sharing this information about the New Hampshire Low and Moderate program with municipalities in case there are inquiring residents. The Low & Moderate Income Homeowner's Property Tax Relief provisions were designed to lessen the economic burden of the State Education Property Tax on certain at-risk taxpayers. New Hampshire residents who own a homestead subject to the State Education Property Tax, resided in the homestead as of April 1, 2011, and have a total household income of $20,000 or less if a single person (or $40,000 or less if married or head of household) may apply for property tax relief between May 1, 2014 and June 30, 2014.
