Trash Pick-up and Recycling
These items will be enforced immediately:
·      Anything over 32 gallon barrel or bag, will not be collected
·      32 gallon barrel or bag needs a sticker on bag or will not be collected
·      Recycling that has non-recycling items in it will be left
·      Any businesses putting out trash or recycling will not be picked up, they should obtain private                 dumpsters

New Office Hours for the Building Inspector

Norman will be holding office hours at 243 Amesbury Road Unit 6, starting June 15, 2015.  He will be available 5:00-6:30pm every 1st and 3rd Monday before the Board of Selectmen's Meetings.

 Building permit costs are $.50/sq ft for living areas and $.10/sq ft for non-living areas. The minimum cost is $50.00.

Emergency Operation Center (EOC) volunteers needed.
The Director of Emergency Operations for the town of Kensington is seeking volunteers to staff the Emergency Operations Center during emergencies and drills. Some of the duties would be answering the phones, keeping logs, making calls to vulnerable citizens during natural or man-made disasters or any other duty to assist with the EOC. The positions are volunteer; some of your time will be reimbursed through grants. All training will be provided.
